South Coast Striders release – There are no hikes scheduled for September, but reserve the dates and mark your calendars for three upcoming hikes: Tahkenich Dunes–October 1; Dellenback Dunes–October 16; Bandon–To the Bogs and Back–October 23. Dunes hikes are usually good in October, after we’ve had some rain to pack the sand. The Bogs hike will take you to view some cranberry bogs and some historic locations in Bandon. More details for all hikes will be available later in the month.
