The North Bend Public Library will be hosting a presentation by Bill Bradbury entitled “Watershed Moments for Salmon 2022” on October 19th at 6:00 p.m. Bradbury’s presentation will cover the social and economic impact that climate change is having on the state of Oregon. He will also highlight effective solutions to counteract the effects of climate change. Bill Bradbury served as Representative to the Oregon House of Representatives from 1980 to 1984. He was elected to the Oregon State Senate in 1984, where he served for eleven years. In 1999, Bradbury served the state of Oregon as Secretary of State, during which time he chaired the Oregon Sustainability Board. Bradbury also founded and is the executive director of the non-profit organization For the Sake of the Salmon, which seeks to restore salmon stocks and watershed restoration.
