Lane Community College, Eugene, swept the top-five spots to win the NWAC Men’s Cross-Country Championships Saturday at University Park, near Tacoma, WA. Aidan Lilienthal led Southwestern Oregon with a 44th place finish on the 8,000 meter course (29:09.20). Logan Auxier, LCC, was the overall winner in 24:48.00. Lane also took the women’s team race finishing with four runners in the top five. Cammeo Ramirez, LCC, was the overall champion in 18:23.40 over the 5K course. Nina Garland was the top Laker runner in 13th (20:20.90). Former Marshfield runner Bailey Wallack, running for Umpqua CC, was 12th (20:17.00).
