Southwestern Oregon’s men won two-out-of-three at the Red Devil Classic Basketball Tournament at Longview, WA. The Lakers lost their opener Friday to Spokane 80-65, but came back Saturday to down Centralia 84-66 and capped it off with a 76-68 win over Yakima Valley Sunday. SWOCC (4-2) is scheduled to play Sierra College at the Tregs Classic, College of the Redwoods, Eureka, CA, Thursday, Dec. 1, 5 p.m. The Laker women were at the Thanksgiving Invitational, Clackamas CC, Oregon City. Southwestern won two-out-of-three. On Friday, SWOCC fell to Umpqua 72-62, Saturday beat Clackamas 83-79 and Sunday, topped Pierce 68-56. The Lakers (4-2) are scheduled to play at Walla Walla CC, Friday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m.
