The Les Schwab & Directors Mortgage Prep Basketball Tournament gets underway Thursday with Junction City & Mazama playing in the boy’s bracket at 4 p.m., Marshfield Junior High. In the Main Gym at 4 p.m., Crook Co. plays Cascade Christian. The two final first-round games in the boy’s bracket has Philomath vs. Redmond, 7 p.m., at the Junior High, and Marshfield vs. Hidden Valley in the Main Gym at 7 p.m. The girl’s bracket begins Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with Junction City & Redmond at the Junior High, and Crook Co. vs. Astoria in the Main Gym, 5:30 p.m. The final first day games have Philomath & Mazama, 8:30 p.m., at the Junior High, and Marshfield vs. Hidden Valley, 8:30 p.m., Main Gym. Consolation plays begins Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., Main Gym.
