Marshfield’s girls (5-3) are ranked No. 7 in this week’s OSAA/Coach’s 4A Prep Basketball Poll. Baker (5-0) is ranked No. 1, followed by Astoria (5-1), Gladstone (4-1), Madras (5-2) & Marist Catholic (4-1) are tied for fourth. Bandon’s girls (5-1) are ranked No. 2 behind unbeaten Salem Academy (6-0) in the 2A poll.
3A Showcase
At the 3A Girls’ Basketball Showcase at Marshfield HS Tuesday, Sutherlin downed Santiam Christian 60-45. No score on the Corbett vs. Oregon Episcopal game. Corbett (8-0) is scheduled to play Sutherlin (5-1) today at 1:45 p.m. at MHS.

Coquille beat North Bend’s girls 60-42 at the Bulldog Invitational, Creswell HS, Tuesday. North Bend’s boys beat Coquille 60-56. Both teams will play again today. The North Bend girls are 3-5, and the boys are 5-3.
