3A Showcase
Sutherlin won the 3A Girls Basketball Showcase at Marshfield HS Wednesday. The Bulldogs downed Corbett 53-42, while Santiam Christian beat Oregon Episcopal 44-20 in the consolation game. The 3A Showcase was a fund-raiser for the MHS girls’ basketball team.

Oakridge beat North Bend 63-33 at the Creswell Bulldog Invitational Wednesday. North Bend (3-6) is scheduled to play Taft at the Newport Holiday Tournament Dec. 28, 11 a.m. Creswell’s boys downed North Bend 62-28 Wednesday. The Bulldogs (5-4) next play Douglas Friday at home, 3:30 p.m.
