North Bend had two players and Marshfield one named to the All State Girls’ Prep 4A Soccer Second Team for the 2022 Fall Season. Bulldog senior Kyla Daniels & freshman Lauren Efraimson. Representing the Pirates was junior Kaleigh England.

Marshfield’s girls won both of their games during the annual Crossover Tournament with the Skyline Conference this past weekend. The Lady Pirates (10-4) beat Klamath Union on Friday 53-44, and then Henley on Saturday 41-37, both games at Marist Catholic, Eugene. Marshfield is off now until Jan. 17 when District 4 league play begins. North Bend lost both games at the Crossover. On Friday, the Bulldogs fell to Phoenix 44-19 at Junction City, and then fell 43-16 to Mazama at Marist Catholic Saturday. North Bend (5-9) is scheduled to host Douglas Monday, 7 p.m. The two leagues tied 5-5 at the Crossover.

Marshfield’s boys won both of their games during the Crossover. The Pirates beat Klamath Union Friday 53-47 at KU, and then Saturday 56-51 over Phoenix at Henley. Marshfield (8-6) is scheduled to play at Madras Saturday, Jan. 14. North Bend’s boys lost both games at the Crossover. The Bulldogs fell 59-45 to Mazama Friday at Henley, and then 53-48 to Klamath Union Saturday at KU. North Bend (6-6) is scheduled to open District 4 play Jan. 17 at Marist Catholic. District 4 won the Crossover 6-4.
