Quakes, Jan. 12

The southern junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast was rocked by three earthquakes Wednesday, Jan. 11. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.1-magnitude quake was recorded west of Ferndale, CA, followed by two smaller quakes, a 2.6-magnitude, and 2.9-magnitude all in the same area near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
