NBHS Booster Club
The North Bend High School Booster Club meets every other Wednesday at the Back Alley, North Bend Lanes, noon. Student-athletes will be in attendance to talk about their current prep seasons. The meeting is open to all Bulldog Boosters.

Marshfield’s basketball teams split their District 4 league opener with visiting Junction City Tuesday night at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay. The MHS boys (0-1, 8-8) fell to the second-ranked Tigers (1-0, 14-2) 67-43, but the fourth-ranked Lady Pirates (1-0, 11-4) beat JC (0-1, 6-10) 51-40. Marshfield’s teams head to Cottage Grove Friday. North Bend’s girls (0-1, 5-11) lost their league opener at Marist Catholic (1-0, 10-4), Eugene, Tuesday night, 40-22. The Bulldog boys (0-1, 6-7) also fell to the Spartans (1-0, 6-9), 66-35. North Bend is at Junction City Friday.

Marshfield’s wrestling team heads to Sweet Home for a dual with the Huskies Wednesday. North Bend’s wrestling team will head to Southern Oregon for a dual with Hidden Valley at Murphy.
