A 3.0-magnitude earthquake shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, Jan. 23. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Bandon. There were also two quakes recorded at the Oregon/California border. The USGS recorded a two, 2.7-magnitude quakes west of Brookings.
