A couple of earthquakes were recorded near the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Friday morning, Jan. 27. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.3-magnitude quake was located west of Ferndale, CA on the outer fault line and a 3.7-magnitude was located east to southeast of Fortuna, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
