Gold Beach is No. 7 in this week’s OSAA/Coach’s 2A Prep Basketball Poll. The Panthers (18-3) follow top-ranked Salem Academy (15-4) and East Linn Christian (18-3) the top two ranked 2A boy’s teams. No other South Coast team made the weekly polls. The 3A Boy’s & Girl’s State Basketball Tournament is held in the Bay Area March 2-4. Here’s this week’s Top 10: Dayton (18-1) is No. 1, followed by Cascade Christian (16-2), De La Salle North Catholic (17-3); Westside Christian (18-3); Oregon Episcopal (15-4); Banks (16-3); Creswell (14-4); Burns (16-3); Pleasant Hill (15-4) & Santiam Christian (14-6).
