Prep GBXB Polls
Marshfield is No. 4 in this week’s OSAA/Coach’s 4A Prep Basketball Poll. The Lady Pirates (14-5) trail No. 1 Baker (18-2); No. 2 Gladstone (17-3); and, No. 3 Astoria (18-2). Marist Catholic (12-5) is at No. 5. Bandon (19-4) is No. 6 in the 2A Poll. The OSAA 3A State Basketball Tournament is set for March 2-4 in the Bay Area. This week’s top girls’ 3A teams are: No. 1 Corbett (20-3); No. 2 Banks (20-1); No. 3 Sutherlin (21-2); No. 4 Amity 17-3); No. 5 Santiam Christian (18-4); No. 6 Nyssa (18-4); No. 7 Lakeview (18-3); No. 8 Pleasant Hill (18-1); No. 9 Westside Christian (16-7); and, No. 10 Riverdale (16-7).

Gold Beach is No. 7 this week in the OSAA/Coach’s 2A Prep Basketball Poll. The Panthers (20-3) are the only South Coast team to make any of the weekly lists. The 3A State Basketball Tournament is March 2-4 in the Bay Area. The top 3A teams this week: No. 1 De La Salle North Catholic (20-3); No. 2 Dayton (20-1); No. 3 Cascade Christian (19-3); No. 4 Westside Christian (19-3); No. 5 Banks (18-3); No. 6 Oregon Episcopal (16-5); No. 7 Creswell (16-4); No. 8 Burns (18-3); No. 9 Pleasant Hill (16-5); and, No. 10 Santiam Christian (15-7).
