Oregon’s men won their opening game in the NIT Basketball Tournament at home Wednesday, 84-58 over visiting UC Irvine at Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. The Ducks (20-14) will host Central Florida in the Second Round Sunday.

Oregon State’s baseball team ended up getting a split with visiting Nevada at Goss Stadium, Corvallis in a pair of non-league games. Nevada won the first game Tuesday 5-1, but the Beavers took the second game Wednesday 12-1. OSU (12-5) plays at Stanford on Friday.

Oregon’s baseball team dropped it’s third game in-a-row Wednesday to visiting Niagara in a non-league game at PK Park, Eugene Wednesday. The Ducks (9-6) return to Pac-12 play Friday at Washington State.
