Summer coastal traffic on the narrow two-lanes of Hwy. 101 near Heceta Head on the Central Oregon Coast was back up for up to four-miles due to an accident involving a travel trailer, semi, and a third vehicle. Sixty-two year old John Mygatt, of Bandon, was lifeflighted to a hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. Two other injured individuals were transported to a hospital in Florence. Debris from the travel trailer was reported were spread over a 200-yard area according to State Police investigators.
