Alleged Ethics Violation in North Bend Dismissed, Dec. 20

City of North Bend release – On Friday, in a unanimous (8-0) vote, the Oregon Government Ethics Commission Board dismissed in its entirety a complaint filed by James Rose that alleged North Bend Main Street Manager Stephanie Wilson violated state ethics laws. Mr. Rose widely disseminated this complaint in a “Letter to the Editor” published online in the Rob Taylor Report (https://bit.ly/3WrZdZt). The “Letter to the Editor” was then widely shared on third-party social media websites during the height of the election season. Congratulations to Stephanie Wilson on having the Oregon Government Ethics Commission Board conclude there was no wrongdoing and, therefore, no cause to proceed with an investigation.
