North Coos Waterfront suffered two defeats during an American Legion baseball doubleheader at home to visiting Cascade Christian of Medford Thursday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend. The Challengers won 8-0 and 11-10. North Coos Waterfront (9-3, 16-11) plays at the Roseburg Lions on Saturday.
13U Babe Ruth Tourney
The 13 and Under State Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament will be held at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend this weekend. Games begin both Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
