Accompanied by a police & fire escort, the North Coos Waterfront American Legion baseball team got a North Bend sendoff Wednesday morning from Clyde Allen Field. The Waterfront won the State American Legion “A” Title to qualify for the American Legion Regionals in Lewiston, ID Aug. 10-14. North Coos, representing Oregon, is scheduled to play at 1 p.m. Friday against Wyoming in the First Round of the double-elimination tourney.
