North Coos Waterfront dropped a pair of non-league American Legion baseball games at North Medford Friday, 12-0 (5), and 14-4 (6). Both teams had already qualified for the state tournament next week at North Marion High School in Aurora. The Waterfront opens Wednesday, 5 p.m., against La Grande. South Coos, in their first season, forfeited their season ending doubleheader at Cascade Christian Thursday and ended the season with a 1-23 record.
