The Bay Area’s two American Legion baseball teams, North Coos Waterfront & South Coos, are scheduled to play one another Monday, 3 p.m., at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend.

North Coos Waterfront opened the 2019 season with a doubleheader sweep at Brookings Saturday. North Coos won 10-2 & 7-1. South Coos got a split at Cascade Christian in Rogue River losing 14-7, but also winning 7-1.
