North Coos Waterfront fell 5-1 in the first game of a doubleheader with Churchill in American Legion baseball Monday, June 20. According to coach Brad Horning, Sam Mickelson homered for North Coos. Jalen Riddle and Luke Wheeling each contributed two-hits including doubles. Won game two behind a complete game by Hunter Wheeling. Caden Hunt had 3 hits in 4 at bats with two doubles. North Coos is scheduled to play at Churchill in West Eugene Thursday, June 23, 3p.
