South Coos swept an American Legion baseball doubleheader from visiting Brookings Sunday, July 3, at the MHS Field, 3-2 & 16-3. The Nooks downed North Coos, 6-3 & 2-1 in a league doubleheader at Clyde Allen Field, North Bend, on Tuesday. South Coos is scheduled to play at the Loggers in Roseburg on Thursday, 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. North Coos plays at Siuslaw, Florence, on Thursday.
