Memorial Day Weekend, nice weather, late night boating under the stars, it all came together Saturday, May 29, when 13 individual crammed into two motor boats on Tillamook Bay about 10 p.m. and found low tide. They were stranded in the mud and had to be rescued by the Tillamook Co. Sheriff’s Office and Tillamook Fire Dept. Several attempted to reach shore on their own. Sheriff’s deputies removed four from the boats and took them to emergency personnel on shore who treated them for cold. No one was injured.
