Anderson Avenue Sidewalk Repair, Aug. 31

City of Coos Bay release – On August 10th, the City of Coos Bay began Phase I of the downtown sidewalk repairs on Anderson Avenue between S. 2nd and S. 3rd Streets. Crews are now preparing for Phase II which consists of sidewalk repair along S. 2nd Street between Anderson and Curtis Avenues. Phase II work along S. 2nd Street will begin on August 31st with the demolition of the existing sidewalk. The sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrian foot traffic will be detoured to the sidewalk to the east along S. 2nd Street. Please proceed with caution in construction zones.
