Charleston Fire Chief Mick Sneddon was called up last week to assist with fire coverage for the Nena Springs Fire on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Central Oregon. According to Chief Sneddon, he served as Deputy Planning Section Chief for the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Red Incident Management Team as of early Friday morning, August 18. Prior to that, Chief Sneddon was serving in the same position but for the Blue Team Wednesday through Friday.
