The deadline for applying for director for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is being extended to January 5, 2015. The Fish and Wildlife Commission is conducting a national search for a replacement for Roy Elicker who resigned to take a position with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is coordinating the recruitment process and recommended extending the application deadline. Applications will be accepted through January 5, 2015. Finalists for the position will be interviewed by the Commission at its February 13, 2015 meeting. The public will have the opportunity to meet finalists for the position at a public meeting in Salem on February 12, 2015.
