News release SBDC. Arlene Soto has been has been the Director of the Southwestern Community College Small Business Development Center for more than 10 years. She previously spent 13 years as regional director at the Wyoming SBDC. Throughout her tenure with Southwestern Oregon she has been known for her strong relationships with the local business community and partners. Arlene said, “I love making a difference for people. What we do at the SBDC makes a positive difference for individual business owners and for our communities.” We will miss her knowledge, support and positive commitment to our community. Arlene has taken a position as the SBDC Director at Tillamook Bay Community College. We will be holding a farewell party for Arlene on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 28th from 4:00-6:00pm at the SWOCC campus in the Newmark Center, 2nd floor room 207. Please plan to come by and share a few moments with Arlene before she heads to Tillamook. As much as we will miss her, we also wish her well and know she will have a great impact on the community and businesses in Tillamook County.
