News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 11/30/2014 at about 9:30 AM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Southern Coos Hospital for a report of an assault. A female adult and a female juvenile were being treated for injuries sustained as a result of an assault which occurred at a residence on Beach Loop Road south of Bandon. Investigation indicated Eric Brian Dahlke, age 51, assaulted an adult female and a juvenile female under ten years old inside of the residence. He also prevented the female from calling 911 to report the incident. He was arrested and charged with Assault III, Assault IV (Domestic / Felony), Menacing and Interfering with Making a Police Report. He was lodged at the Coos County Jail.
