Bay Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) events through the end of March are cancelled due to the precautions being taken statewide to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Oregon. This includes the Wednesday Business Connection luncheons on March 18th & 25th and April 1st, and Business after Hours March 26th. All Chamber committee meetings through April 1st are cancelled as well. Additionally, the April 1st BACC Board meeting will not be held, with the next Board meeting scheduled for May 6th. Your Chamber office remains open and will serve as a conduit for information to you that is accurate and informative and from you concerning the impacts on your businesses in these challenging weeks. This is one of those times where we are united for family, community and business. Refuse to panic. We are going through this together and need to count on each other to be calm, rational and considerate. Solutions will be found that keep our daily lives and the economy going. With the amount of activity in the past two weeks, expect a great deal of movement, on all fronts concerning this pandemic, by the end of March.
