It’s back to school time in Oregon’s Bay Area; however, it will not be like the beginning of any other school year in the past. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, schools are re-opening under strict health guidelines. Both the North Bend and Coos Bay school districts will start the 2020-21 school year with “Comprehensive Distance Learning” for grades 4-12. North Bend will also begin grades K-1 with a Hybrid schedule. Grades K-3 within the CBSD will begin Sept. 21 as will grades 2 &3 within the NBSD.
