News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 7-12-15 at 2102 hours Coos County Law Enforcement was alerted to a potential burglary in progress. The 911 caller told dispatchers a white male adult with a beard crawled over a cyclone fence surrounding a property and broke into a neighboring home located at 55396 Melton Road, Bandon, Oregon. Located at the home was a Stevan A. Alexander, 31 YOA of Bandon. Mr. Alexander was found in the shower and claimed to be a potential buyer of the home. Mr. Alexander told investigators he had jumped into the swimming pool with his clothes on and had decided to go into the home and shower. The home is currently listed with a realtor. Mr. Alexander was arrested for Burglary I and Criminal Trespass I. Mr. Alexander was transported to the Coos County Jail and lodged. Bail was listed at $25,000.00. Investigation is continuing.
