Bandon on the South Oregon Coast is the latest community to close its doors to visitors. The Coos County community recently passed a resolution prohibiting overnight visitors due to the COVID-19 virus. The resolution shuts down local motels, inns, bed & breakfasts, vacation & short-term rentals. The restrictions are through May 1st; however, they will be re-evaluated. Curry County’s Board of Commissioners have also ordered all hotels, motels and short-term rentals to close because of the COVID-19 virus. The order includes all Curry Co. cities that haven’t yet adopted city-specific resolutions or orders at establishments where people pay to stay for 28 days or less.
