Bandon Male Arrested During Washington D.C. Riot, Jan. 11

According to a report from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland, three Oregonians, including a Coos Co. male, were arrested during the storming of the Nation’s Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 6, in Washington D.C. Two Portland women (ages 28 & 54) were charged with Unlawful Entry and Curfew Violation, while 57-year old Rodney Taylor of Bandon was charged with Curfew Violation. Oregon U.S. Attorney Billy Williams said Oregonians who traveled to Washington D.C. and participated in last week’s armed insurrection at the U.S. Capitol would be prosecuted to the “fullest extent of the law” in Oregon.
