Was it a bank robbery? North Bend Police were summoned to First Community Credit Union on Inland Dr. about 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, to an alarm activation. Along with officers from Coos Bay, police were told the alarm was genuine and a suspect was still inside. Thirty-nine year old Christopher Sorrow was taken into custody and charged with First Degree Menacing, Robbery & Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
