The suspect in this incident has been safely taken into custody. There is no on-going threat to the public. Updates including charges and identity of the suspect will be provided as they become available. On 07/09/21 at around 11:30pm, deputies responded to a residence within the Ponderosa mobile home park in the 3000blk of Franklin Blvd. regarding a restraining order that was actively being violated. When deputies arrived the suspect barricaded within the residence and armed herself with a firearm. Deputies are on scene negotiating and attempting to de-escalate her. The protected party of the order was able to leave the residence. The community is asked to avoid the area if possible until this situation can be resolved.
