All family and friends of students, supervisors, department heads and city and county officials are welcome to attend. Commander Kevin Schultz of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office will be the keynote speaker. Class members assigned to the Oregon Coast: (5) Bailey, Brandon – Florence Police Department; Curry-Roberts, Kolbey – Curry County Sheriff’s Office; Curtis, Kyle – Curry County Sheriff’s Office; Lewis, Seth – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office; Yenchik, Joseph – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A total of 38 will graduate. DPSST provides training to more than 25,000 students each year throughout Oregon and at the Oregon Public Safety Academy in Salem: certifies qualified officers at various levels from basic through executive; certifies qualified instructors; and reviews and accredits training programs throughout the state based on standards established by the Board.
