Coos Bay Public Library will be offering a Beginning Gmail class for novice email users. This class will be held on Friday, January 19, from 9:30am-11:00am at the library’s Internet computers (entrance at 9:15am). Class is designed for users who wish to learn how to create and use a free email account. Attendees will learn basic functionality including how to read, create, send, and delete emails. Class will also cover how to view and attach pictures or other electronic files. Users will become familiar with Gmail terminology, proper etiquette, and other free email options. Attendees should be comfortable using a computer mouse and the Internet. A cell phone with text messaging is also a prerequisite. Class is FREE. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required.
