The best prep basketball players on the South Coast will come together Sunday, March 12, to play two all star games at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay. The annual Big Mike BASA South Coast All Star Basketball Series will begin with the girls’ teams, coached by Heather Weber & Brianna (George) Cutting (Red Team) and Peyton & Rob Babb (Blue Team) practicing from 2-3 p.m. The boys teams, coached by Riley Grandinette (Red Team) and Tom Nicholls (Blue Team) practicing from 3-4. The girls’ game will start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the boys’ game in Prosper Hall. Proceeds from the game go to the Big Mike Basketball Fund.
