Southwestern Oregon Community College hosted the annual Big Mike South Coast All-Stars Basketball series Sunday in Coos Bay. The two invitational games proceeds go to the Big Mike Basketball Fund, in honor of Mike Helfrich. The girl’s game was won by the Red Team, 65-33, coached by Heather Weber & Brianna Cutting. The Blue Team was coached by Peyton & Rob Babb. The boy’s game was won by the Red Team, 92-79, coached by Riley Grandinetti & Marcus Nelson. The Blue Team was coached by Tom Nicholls & Cam Lucero.
