Three North Coast males have been arrested for stealing more than a dozen bicycles from visitors at Fort Stevens State Park and the KOA Campground near Warrenton. The three, 19-year old Devin Corey Derou, 24-year old Jacob Martin Kitzman and 26-year old John Michael Lafreniere.were booked into the Clatsop Co. Jail at Astoria on July 31st after police increased their patrols in the area at night. Police have recovered nearly 15 of the stolen bikes. Some had been dismantled, accessories removed and repainted. None of the stolen bikes were locked or secured at the campgrounds.
