The City of Coos Bay contracted with Laskey-Clifton Corp to perform construction services for the Pump Station 17 upgrade and the installation of a new sanitary sewer force main. For safety reasons, this work will require a road closure for October 6th 7th & 8th. This area is tidally influenced; and for safety reasons, the contractor will be working with the low tides between 7pm and 7am. During these construction activities, Birch Ave. will be closed, and Front St. will have one lane traffic with flaggers. There will be no on street parking in this portion of Birch Ave. or N. Front St. while construction is underway. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone.
