News release Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier. The autopsy on the body of Richard Perkins was completed this afternoon. Richard Perkins was bludgeoned to death with a blunt object. He died as a result of severe blunt force trauma to the head. The person of interest in this case, Lucas Mark Perkins, has not been located at this time. However, we have developed information that he is most likely in the Seattle, Washington area. We are not prepared at this time to discuss how we know this information. Seattle police agencies have been notified and are assisting in locating Lucas Perkins. Again anyone with information on the case is encouraged to call the Coos County Sheriff’s Office.
