An adult and two juveniles, caught in a North Oregon Coast rip tide, are safe after being rescued by members of a local fire department and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter. The three were using boogie boards at Rockaway Beach in Tillamook County Tuesday, June 23, when they were pulled away from shore by a rip tide. The juveniles made their way back to the beach, but the adult was pushed further out. The Coast Guard helicopter lifted him to safety.
