News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 17 December, 2013 at about 8:15 PM a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy and an Oregon State Police Trooper responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Dover Road in the Bunker Hill area of Coos Bay. Upon arriving at the location, Officers contacted the resident, 52 year old Richard Beezley, who advised that the person causing the disturbance, 51 year old Janet LaGasse, a transient, had left the residence on foot and had gone down into a wooded area nearby. Mr. Beezley advised that he had befriended Ms. LaGasse just the day before, allowing her to stay at his residence and that this night she became agitated, argumentative and would not leave. The Officers located Janet LaGeese nearby at a chicken coop after following her by her vulgar yelling. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and was transported to the Coos County Jail to be lodged. Ms. LaGasse was also charged with Bribe Giving after she offered sexual favors in exchange for release to the arresting Deputy and then two Corrections Deputies while being booked. She was booked and held in the Coos County Jail pending a court hearing.”
