ODOT bridge maintenance crews will be placing new deck overlays on several bridges in August and September, creating daytime lane restrictions. The work will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the dates listed below. The work includes shot blasting the bridge decks before applying an epoxy overlay to the decks. On August 13, the work will take place on the Scott Creek Bridge, MP 14.22 on OR 34 (Alsea Hwy.) Traffic will be flagged through the work zone with short delays. On August 27, the work will take place on the Neskowin Creek Bridge, MP 98.94 on US 101. Traffic will be flagged through the work zone with short delays. On August 31, the work will take place on the Buck Creek Bridge, MP 7.9 on OR 22 (Three Rivers Hwy.). Traffic will be flagged through the work zone with short delays. On September 1, the work will take place over a drainage ditch, MP 66.36 on US 101. This schedule is weather dependent and subject to changes. Electronic message boards will be placed in the areas to alert travelers to schedule changes.
