News release CCSO. As stated before, the deceased person from Bullards Beach State Park, found on July 4, 2017 has been identified using fingerprint technology. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office at first did not want to release the deceased person’s name so they could locate a next of kin in family. At this time, only one friend has been located to have known Donald Deruchiez. Mr. Deruchiez is known to have been contacted in both Curry and Douglas counties, but was not known to frequent Coos County. Family ties have been tracked to Idaho but any identified family was no longer living. It is believed, but unknown, that Mr. Deruchiez was living a transient lifestyle. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is now requesting family of Mr. Deruchiez to contact us at (541) 396-2106.
