Officers with the North Bend Police Dept., Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon State Police established a perimeter Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the Airports Heights area of North Bend after receiving a report that a felon wanted on charges of Burglary and Armed Robbery was in a residence. The arrest went down about 4 p.m. and without incident after Floyd Bertram Andrews, of Antioch, CA, was confirmed to be at the residence. Police surrounded the home and ordered Andrews out. According to a news release from NBPD, “after a brief standoff, Andrews walked out of the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.” He was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
