News release CCSO. On May 30, 2017, at about 1915 hours, deputies responded to 92250 Hilltop Lane in Coquille. This was at the request of Bakersfield, CA Police Department. Bakersfield PD had information a wanted subject from their jurisdiction was staying at this address. Deputies located the suspect, Richard Brown, at the property. Brown had an active warrant for his arrest out of Bakersfield PD for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Inflict Injury on Spouse and (2) counts of Willful Cruelty to Child. Richard Brown, 39 years old of Bakersfield, CA, was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail. Brown’s bail for the charges was listed at $95,000.00.
