Cape Arago Hwy., Sept. 22

ODOT release – Transportation: ODOT: SW Oregon: Oregon 540 (Cape Arago Highway) is now open. The highway had been closed at milepost 5.3, near the Charleston Fire District station, for one week as workers replaced the culvert at Third Creek. Motorists should watch for intermittent lane closures the rest of the week. Flaggers will provide traffic control as needed.
